'Star Wars Episode VII' cast announced: Who's in the movie? (+video)

'Star Wars Episode VII': The cast has officially been announced. Who will appear in the film? 'Star Wars Episode VII' is scheduled to be released in December 2015.

'Star Wars Episode 7' will include the return of Mark Hamill (l.), Carrie Fisher (center), and Harrison Ford (r.).

20th Century Fox/AP

After months of secrecy and rumors, the cast for the new “Star Wars” film, the seventh film in the franchise, has been revealed.

Original “Star Wars” actors Mark Hamill, who portrayed Jedi knight Luke Skywalker; Carrie Fisher, who played feisty princess Leia Organa; and Harrison Ford, who was the wisecracking smuggler Han Solo, are returning for the movie, according to Disney and Lucasfilm.

In addition, actor Peter Mayhew, who portrayed Han Solo’s Wookiee sidekick Chewbacca, and actors Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker, who were behind the droids C-3PO and R2-D2, are coming back for the film.

The best-known actors who will play the new faces in a galaxy far, far away are “Girls” actor Adam Driver, who it had already been reported would be the main villain of the film; Andy Serkis, who became famous for portraying the creature Gollum in the “Lord of the Rings” movies through motion-capture technology; and well-known actor Max von Sydow of “The Exorcist,” among many other films.

In addition, actors Domhnall Gleeson of “About Time” and Oscar Isaac, who starred in last year’s film “Inside Llewyn Davis,” have joined the cast. Also on board are “Imperial Dreams” actor John Boyega (he’s also appearing in Fox’s upcoming series “24: Live Another Day”) and Daisy Ridley, who has appeared in such TV shows as “Mr. Selfridge.”

Of course, Disney and Lucasfilm are staying mum on what roles, exactly, all these actors will be taking on.

“We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII," director J.J. Abrams said in a

statement. "It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."

The seventh “Star Wars” film is set to be released on Dec. 18, 2015.

Emma Stone, Jimmy Fallon face off in epic lip-synch battle on ‘The Tonight Show’

The 25-year-old actress proved that acting is just one of her many talents as she hilariously challenged the late-night host on Monday's show.

Emma Stone, you do win.

The 25-year-old actress stopped by Jimmy Fallon's "Tonight Show" Monday and the two went head to head in an epic lip-synch battle.

While Fallon certainly stepped it up, he didn't quite hold a candle to the "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" starlet.

The funnyman host, 39, kicked off the competition by performing Iggy Azalea's "Fancy." Stone followed with her rendition of "Hook" by the Blues Traveler.

"I can't even talk to you right now," Fallon said to Stone after she finished.

Emma Stone and Jimmy Fallon have engage in an epic lip-synch battle during Monday's 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.'

"I forgot all about that song. So good. I really gotta pick it up now. I've gotta up my game."

Fallon's second song was "Mr. Roboto," in which he hilariously paired with robot dance moves.

Prior to their face-off, Stone opened up to Fallon in their sit-down about her favorite things to look up on the Web.

"I just Pinterest everything, Pinterest is basically like a mood board online, and you can look on different sections and you can build your dream life, basically. You're like, 'Oh, these clothes! I would wear all these clothes if I could. This is what my house would look like.' They're just pictures that you would pin as if you were pinning them to a corkboard, but you're pinning them to an internet website ... and your life is sad because it doesn't look like that."

Jimmy Fallon crowned Emma Stone the winner of their hilarious lip-synch battle.

"My Pinterest is secret because I would be humiliated if anyone would see how many inspirational quotes I have," she continued.

Stone stars in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" alongside real-life love Andrew Garfield, which hits theaters Friday.

Naya Rivera Not Fired From 'Glee', but Written Out of Season Finale

A rep for the Santana depicter calls reports about her being axed from the show 'absolutely untrue,' while a source says her exclustion from the season finale 'has nothing to do' with Lea Michele.

Naya Rivera is not fired from "Glee" yet. The actress, who has joined the musical drama series since the first season, was earlier reported being let go following rumors of a tension on the set, but her representative says in a statement, "Any reports or rumors circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from Glee are absolutely untrue. End of story."

The rep, however, does not address report saying that Rivera is written out of the season 5 finale. She was initially set to be part of the May 13 episode, but her character Santana Lopez has been written out of the script following a disagreement with producers on April 15 and somehow Lea Michele "was caught in the crossfire between showrunners, and Naya."

Sources, however, deny Michele's involvement in the on-set spat. "She went off," a source tells NY Daily News. "But it had nothing to do with Lea." An insider also tells E! News, "[Naya] isn't fired and her not being in the finale has nothing to do with Lea. I don't know where these stories are coming from, but they are not true."

Rivera's future on the show has not been decided yet. Another insider says, "We love Naya and want only the best for her. Hopefully we can work it out." The insider adds, "We all needed a moment," and the break is "best for everyone."

PopWrapped earlier reported that Rivera was axed from the season 5 finale and was "not slated to be a part of season 6 in any way." It was also said that her trailer had "already been completely emptied" and "her pass to get on the Paramount lot revoked."

There's only one episode left before the season 6 finale of "Glee". Next week, the show will return with "Old Dog, New Tricks" on May 6 at 8/7c on FOX. In the episode written by series star Chris Colfer, Rachel attempts to salvage her reputation among Broadway gossipers by hiring Santana as her publicist and creating a charity for rescue animals. Meanwhile, Kurt nabs the lead role in a retirement home production of "Peter Pan".

Cameron Diaz: 'I've been with a lady'

Actress Cameron Diaz has confessed to having a lesbian encounter.

The Other Woman star recently told U.K.'s Glamour magazine that she believes "all women have been sexually attracted to another woman at some point", and was asked to explain herself when host Andy Cohen confronted Diaz about the quote when she appeared on his U.S. talk show Watch What Happens Live on Monday (28Apr14).

Initially coy about opening up when Cohen asked, "Have you ever been with a lady?", the actress eventually responded, "Yes, I have been with a lady. Yeah."

Eager to get more details, he inquired, "More than once?"

But Diaz, who has previously dated Justin Timberlake and New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, clearly didn't want to continue with the line of questioning, stating, "You didn't ask explicitly how I was with a lady, but I have been with a lady."

News/ Kim Kardashian Jets Off in Low-Cut White Blouse, Almost Looks Too Hot to Get on an Airplane

Kim Kardashian has set a new high for airport style.

The E! star was catching a flight out of Los Angeles this afternoon and she almost looked too good to be getting on an airplane, even if she was headed for first class.

For her trip, Kim was wearing slim-fitting shiny black trousers that draped just so around her thighs but tapered off at a bias around the ankles. Her low-cut white blouse provided a flash of casual cleavage and she accessorized elegantly with nude pumps, a delicate chain necklace and a metallic purse.

PHOTOS: Celebrity airport style

The monochromatic look, with just a hint of gold, couldn't help but provide a smashing background for her huge engagement ring. A member of her entourage was pulling her Louis Vuitton roller bag as she made her way into LAX.

Not that Kim's streamlined look came as a surprise: She's been looking particularly sleek lately, just yesterday being spotted in a black blazer and a plunging black T-shirt, the two combing for effortless business chic.

It's starting to become impossible not to think about what Kim's going to want to wear on her big day...

E! News has learned that she and Kanye West are planning on obtaining a marriage license and having a civil wedding ceremony in the United States before jetting off to France to tie the knot in a more lavish fashion.

Justice League Movie Could Be Out In 2017

After confirming that DC's Justice League will take to our screens after the upcoming 'Batman vs. Superman' and it looks as though we might not have to wait as long as we first thought at least, according to the folks at the Latino Review.

"We know the rumoured release date of the 'Justice League' movie," they claim. "According to my sources, I'm hearing… May 5, 2017."

[Ray Fisher to play Cyborg in Batman vs. Superman]

"Again, that is the rumour I am hearing. [But] it makes sense. If the President of Production is officially going on the record by saying that the movie will indeed follow 'Batman vs. Superman' then May 5, 2017 is a great date to plant a flag."

Of course, this is a great date for a number of reasons, mostly because early-May is currently the most sought-after release window for big, Hollywood blockbusters. But there could even be another reason.

Rumoured to be filming back-to-back with 'Batman vs. Superman', a 2017 release date would make an awful lot of sense. After all, with principal photography finished early, Warner Bros. would have plenty of time to finish the film for a release the following year.

But when should we expect an official announcement?

"I wouldn't expect confirmation until comic con at the earliest," they say. And it looks as though Borys Kit of The Hollywood Reporter backs up their claims.

Of course, this is nowhere near an official confirmation, and for now we'll just have to wait and see. But with 'cameos' coming thick and fast from other members of the Justice League, I can't help thinking that shooting the movies back-to-back makes a lot of sense. I mean, they will all be on set…

[Jason Momoa to play Aquaman in Batman vs. Superman?]

But is that such a good thing?

If you ask me, it could prove to be a very risky move. After all, the general public has no reason to know or care about Aquaman, Flash or the Martian Manhunter. So why should they be excited about them teaming up with Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman?

Marvel's 'Avengers' worked because not only did it appeal to the comic book fans, but the studio spent the time to build their universe with a string of successful solo films… and that brought their superheroes directly into the public consciousness.

But can a Justice League film really work without setting the scene for each of these rather diverse heroes? Only time will tell… but it certainly won't be easy.

Which heroes do you think will join the Justice League line-up? Will we see the Justice League in cinemas by 2017? Let us know what you think in the comments below…

Ryan Leston is a comic book movie geek from Cardiff who can't wait to hear more about the rumoured Justice League movie. His favourite DC film is The Dark Knight and he was hugely impressed with Henry Cavill as Superman. Follow Ryan Leston on Twitter or Facebook.

PHOTOS: Mila and Ashton's romance

Kunis, 30, and the Two and a Half Men actor were on hand to watch Eric Church and Lynyrd Skynyrd, but only had eyes for each other. During the outdoor event, which is considered to be Coachella's country version, Kutcher wrapped his arms around Kunis as she held on to his hand. At one point, Kunis flashed her growing belly (and engagement ring!) while throwing her brunette locks up in a ponytail.

The Jupiter Ascending actress wore a black top and pink and purple plaid shirt for the fun day out, while Kutcher, 36, wore a red Iowa T-shirt, jeans, and boots. "They looked blissfully happy," an onlooker told Us of the couple. "They were dancing to the music and sharing kisses as Wild Feathers played." (The duo recently returned from New Orleans, where they attended the wedding of Kutcher's older sister, Tausha?.)

'Other Woman' curbs 'Captain America' with $24.7M

This image released by 20th Century Fox shows Leslie Mann, from left, Nicki Minaj, Cameron Diaz and Kate Upton in a scene from "The Other Woman." Photo: Barry Wetcher, AP

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A femme-fueled comedy beat a superhero blockbuster at the box office this weekend.

After holding the top position for three weeks, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" has been topped by "The Other Woman" for the No. 1 spot.

Fox's revenge comedy, starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton, debuted with $24.7 million, while Disney-Marvel's "Captain America," led by Chris Evans, grossed $16 million in its fourth weekend, bringing its domestic total to $225 million.

The PG-13 rating of the Nick Cassavetes-directed "The Other Woman" — about three women wronged by a three-timing spouse played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau of "Game of Thrones" — helped it draw a larger audience, said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst of box-office tracker Rentrak.

"The rating was perfect," he said. "If you are going for the mainstream audience who is looking for something that has a little bit of an edge, but not too much, you can hit that sweet spot and draw a large audience."

The release date couldn't have been better, Dergarabedian also noted. "This was the perfect time to release this film, between the success of 'Captain America' and before the official start of the summer movie season with 'Spider-Man 2.' "

Hollywood hasn't yet seen a comedy do especially well at the box office in 2014 since "Ride Along," which was released in January. Wes Anderson's "The Grand Budapest Hotel" exceeded expectations, however, making over $131 million worldwide.

But Jason Bateman's "Bad Words" made only $7.7 million domestically overall. Tyler Perry's "The Single Moms Club" brought in just $16 million domestically. Most of his films have grossed over $40 million domestically. Marlon Wayans' sequel "A Haunted House 2" opened with $8.8 million, drastically down from the original's $18 million debut.

"Sometimes it's about casting," Dergarabedian said. "When you have Cameron Diaz in a comedy like this, it's hard not to knock it out of the park. This film is right in her wheelhouse. This is what she does best."

While Diaz's last film, a thriller called "The Counselor," grossed only $17 million domestically last year, her foul-mouthed 2011 comedy "Bad Teacher" earned over $100 million stateside.

"The Other Woman" scored $12.8 million internationally, bringing its worldwide total to $45.3 million.

"Captain America" has now hit over $645 million globally, surpassing its 2011 original "The First Avenger," which earned $370 million. The sequel is the highest-grossing April release ever.

Sony's faith-based "Heaven Is for Real," starring Greg Kinnear, held the third-place position with $13.8 million after opening in the same slot last weekend behind leaders "Captain America" and Fox's animated "Rio 2," which drifted down to fourth place with $13.7 million. (Notably, Mann, who voices a character in "Rio 2," now has two films in the top five this weekend.)

Relativity Media's action crime drama "Brick Mansions," starring the late Paul Walker, was No. 5 with $9.6 million. The film was one of the last Walker completed before he died in a car accident in November. It's a solid debut for "Brick Mansions" after the film was pushed back from its original release date in February.

To finish "Fast & Furious 7," which will be released April 2015, Walker's brothers, Caleb and Cody Walker, have stepped in to complete their brother's action scenes. In one of his first interviews since the announcement from Universal Pictures, the studio behind the "Fast & Furious" franchise, Cody Walker broke down in tears when talking on Fox's Baltimore TV affiliate about his late brother's charitable work last week.

Johnny Depp's sci-fi disappointment "Transcendence" dropped from No. 4 to No. 6 in its second weekend, earning $4.1 million. The Warner Bros. film is Depp's third consecutive flop after 2013's Western "The Lone Ranger," in which he played Tonto, and 2012 quirky vampire flick "Dark Shadows."

George Clooney hitched! Gets engaged to British girlfriend Amal

Oscar-winning heartthrob George Clooney, one of Hollywood's most coveted bachelors, has got engaged to his British lawyer girlfriend Amal Alamuddin, People magazine reported Saturday.

"George and Amal are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren't really trying to hide this, it doesn't seem," the celebrity publication reported, citing an unnamed source "with knowledge of the situation."

"I think it's like they want the people they love to know that this is real, that they plan on being together forever," the source said.

The engagement happened "not that long ago, I think," according to the source, which added that there don't appear to be any wedding plans yet.

A different source told the magazine that Clooney and Alamuddin were seen Thursday at a swank Los Angeles restaurant dining with supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband, described as longtime Clooney friends. At that time Alamuddin was wearing a "huge ring," the witness told the magazine.

Clooney, 52, has had a string of younger model and actress girlfriends over the years but shown little interest in settling down.

Alamuddin, 36, is a British attorney specializing in international law and human rights. Clooney has long shown interest in human rights issues such as the humanitarian crisis in Darfur.

They came out as a couple in October in London, according to People, and since have been seen together in New York and on trips to places like Tanzania and the Seychelles Islands.

‘The Other Woman’ Tops the Box Office But Overall Sales Drop

“The Other Woman,” a comedy from 20th Century Fox, ranked first, with $24.7 million in estimated sales at the domestic box office. So far this year, ticket sales have been running about 9.4 percent above last year’s, according to the Rentrak reporting service. But the week’s new films, including “The Other Woman,” which stars Cameron Diaz, and, in fifth place, “Brick Mansions,” which features Paul Walker and took in about $9.6 million for Relativity Media, fell well short of blockbuster status.

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” ranked second, with about $16 million in sales in its fourth weekend for Walt Disney and Marvel, for a total of about $224.9 million in domestic sales since opening. “Heaven Is for Real,” one of several faith-based films making a strong impression this year, ranked third, with $13.8 million in weekend sales for Sony Pictures, and $51.9 million since opening on April 16. “Rio 2,” from Fox, was fourth, with $13.7 million in weekend sales, for a total of $96.2 million since opening in early April. “Transcendence,” a thriller starring Johnny Depp, placed sixth, with $4.1 million in weekend sales for Warner Brothers, and a total of $18.5 million over the last two weeks, a performance that makes it one of the season’s notable flops.

If there was any excitement in the weekend’s results, it surrounded “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” which has taken in $132 million since opening abroad, and appears poised for a strong performance when it finally hits screens in the United States on Friday.

Clooney and Keibler, 34, split in July after a two-year relationship. Keibler married businessman Jared Pobre in March and they are expecting a child.

'The Other Woman': movie review

Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton star as women cheated on by the same man in a cliche-ridden, romance-free rom-com

Leslie Mann, Cameron Diaz and Kate Upton bond over a cheating playboy in "The Other Woman."

The conventional rom-com — you know, the kind that usually ends with an airport proposal — was driven into the ground by too many lazy efforts. But Hollywood loves familiar formulas, so it was inevitable that somebody would find a way to revisit the genre.

Rather than upgrading the much-maligned “chick flick” genre with creativity and wit, the makers of “The Other Woman” have simply repackaged it.

So instead of the rom-com, we now have the “non-com.” The cardboard characters and predictable rhythms remain. But this time, we get all the comic cliches with none of the romance.

Cameron Diaz plays Carly, a high-powered lawyer stunned to learn her new boyfriend, Mark (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), is married. After meeting his wife Kate (Leslie Mann), Carly wants to move swiftly on. But Kate is devastated: She has dedicated her entire life to her husband and their suburban home.

Kate convinces Carly to spy on Mark and find out what other secrets he’s hiding. After they catch him with Amber (supermodel Kate Upton), all three ladies decide to take him down.

We last saw this shamelessly recycled idea in the (lousy) 2006 comedy “John Tucker Must Die,” which was about high school students. It’s hardly an improvement to watch adult women drop everything to fanatically obsess over a sleazy playboy.

Screenwriter Melissa Stack takes the easy way out in every scene, but what’s worse is her disdain for her own characters. Kate is a brainless Stepford wife, Amber is a blank mannequin who exists solely for bikini scenes, and Carly is reduced to tripping over her heels and face-planting into shrubs.

Director Nick Cassavetes should know better. Why is the guy who made “The Notebook” — a guilty pleasure, sure, but an intelligent and heartfelt one — treating his cast and audience with so little respect?

Diaz and Mann work remarkably hard to add some buoyancy to the flat script. But they’re required to mug so broadly that their characters have no connection to any living human being.

In the end, stunning Amber falls in love with Frank — because, ultimately, movies like this are exercises in wish fulfillment. Not what viewers want, but what studio execs wish they’d want. After all, it’s a lot harder to create fresh ideas than to dress up old ones and call them new.

NEWS/ Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott Didn't Fake Cheating Scandal for Reality TV Show

Reality TV isn't known for always showing people at their best, but faking an extramarital affair for the sake of your show—particularly when there are children involved—would be pretty low.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott were accused of doing just that with True Tori, their brand new docu-series that premiered Tuesday on Lifetime, but this is no fake out. Sources tell E! News the family's "drama and problems are definitely real." Jezebel questioned whether Tori, 40, and Dean, 47 went so far as to "fake a cheating scandal" to land a TV deal after their long-running Oxygen series Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood ended in 2012. A source tells E! News, however, that Dean's two-day affair while he was away from home, as well as his voluntary stint in rehab for sex addiction, were "not fabricated just to sell the show."

VIDEO: Tori Spelling confronts Dean McDermott about his affair Tori's been tweeting up a storm about the purported realness of her reality show, writing, "This isn't another scripted story. This is my lif....Every tabloid always got it wrong. Hear the real story..."

But why would she be choosing to air her family's dirty laundry on TV? "I needed the chance to tell my own story," Tori wrote on her blog. "At the moment, I don't know if it will have a happy ending. But I need to get my voice back, and this is my way of doing that."

SELENA GOMEZ CUTS OUT TOXIC JENNER SISTERS

Selena Gomez has cut Kendall and Kylie Jenner out of her life because she found them to be “toxic”. Earlier this month, the former Disney star spent time with the Jenner sisters at the Coachella Music Festival, but afterward unfollowed both of them on Instagram. Not only that, but she also unfollowed her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and deleted a lot of their shared photos.

Sources say that Selena wants to focus on her music and sees Kendall and Kylie as “nothing but a toxic distraction.” She reportedly spent her Coachella weekend surrounded by drugs and alcohol and had an epiphany afterward.

Apparently Selena wanted to cut out all “sources of negativity” with regard to the Jenner sisters. She also wants to stay “on the straight and narrow” and wants to go to church on a regular basis.

As you may already know, Selena spent two weeks in a rehab center back in January. Her rep has not confirmed what her treatment was related to, but said that it wasn’t due to substance abuse.

Her whole distancing herself away from the Jenners may have something to do with recent reports that Justin had gotten closer to Kylie Jenner, which is said to have incensed Selena. A source said, “Selena is convinced something has gone on between Justin and Kylie. At Coachella they looked to be back on track. Selena was hanging out with Kylie, too, and they were behaving like best friends. Then she heard stuff about Justin and Kylie and felt totally betrayed. She went berserk and called it all off again.”

In Justin Bieber related news, just yesterday the singer was held up at LAX after returning to the United States from Japan. He was said to have been held up in customs for three hours so that officials could question him over his open criminal cases. He was allowed to leave the airport with his staff at 4PM PST.

'The Other Woman' review: Smart comedy, with edge

Far from a silly romance, "The Other Woman" is a harsh revenge comedy that pairs Cameron Diaz, in her recent acerbic mode, and Leslie Mann, in her deepest and funniest role to date. Written on the knife edge between farce and naturalism by newcomer Melissa K. Stack, it's directed with precision and balance by Nick Cassavetes and put over expertly by the cast. The advertisements might look dumb, but the movie isn't.

The first bit of good news is Cameron Diaz, who - just in the last few years - has stopped smiling all the time and shaving 50 points off her IQ. The Diaz we find here is confident, impatient and queenly, as a 40ish lawyer in what seems like an idyllic romance with a handsome businessman (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). As Carly, Diaz has the magnetism and hauteur of a movie star, and so when she finds out that the boyfriend is married, she drops him cold. She's ready to move on.

But the man's wife wants to be friends with her. Shocked and devastated by her husband's treachery, the wife (Leslie Mann) has absolutely no one she can confide in - except for her husband's former lover. From there, slowly but believably, and at first against Carly's will, the two become friends ... and then start thinking of ways to get even.

The character of the wronged wife is the movie's best creation, and Mann's performance is its revelation. Mann has always been funny, but her performances have been usually within a particular range, playing off a sort of harried but knowing comic persona. But here she's playing someone naive, and zany, and needy, who can't shut up and is slightly ridiculous. At the same time, she must also be hurt, and worthwhile, and serious - the carrier of the movie's emotion.

If you see "The Other Woman," watch Mann and don't take her for granted. Watch what she's doing - or rather how much she's doing simultaneously. Her line readings seem intuitive and spontaneous, guided by some unerring sense of comic timing. Yet, while nailing every laugh, she ropes in aspects of the character's history, too. The pain of her betrayal. Her anger at letting herself get talked out of having children. This is the ideal comic synthesis - all the laughs on the surface, but with all the pain underneath.

Later the women meet up with another other woman, a very young blonde named Amber (of course) and played by Kate Upton, who becomes the junior partner in the trio. Upton isn't nearly as skilled as Diaz or Mann, but her role is pretty basic, to play a nice person who isn't very bright. Upton plays stupid so well that she must be smart.

Audiences looking for a nonstop laugh riot may be disappointed, but the big laughs are there, and they benefit from the movie's underlying sincerity. "The Other Woman" isn't quite as good as "Bridesmaids" - it's neither as funny nor, ultimately, as serious - but it's in that general area of aspiration, and its characters aren't cartoons.

A couple of scenes near the finish feel padded. Just when the movie feels as if it should be hurtling for the climax, it lingers for seven or eight minutes on extraneous things. But that's about the worst that could be said for "The Other Woman." The best is that Melissa K. Stack is a screenwriter to watch and that Leslie Mann's performance has the fullness of life.

Exercise and Beach Video [Watch Here]

"Human Barbie" Valeria Lukyanova has shared a new workout and beach video in her YouTube account Barbie Style Wednesday, April 23.

The video, which is a compilation of clips taken by Lukyanova, shows the 28-year-old jogging in the street and along the beach, showing off her very thin waist and the rest of her extremely proportionate body figure.

It also shows Lukyanova's fondness of taking mirror videos of herself both at her place and at the gym, chronicling her oddly sexy body.

The footage also gives her fans glimpses to the beautiful beach view from where she is staying, and even a clip of herself lip-syncing to a particular song.

As of press time, the video, which is more than four minutes long, have already earned more than 450,000 views since it was released online.

The video received mixed comments from the members of the video-sharing website.

"Narcissism is a huge turn off," commented one man who saw the video.

While one female commenter wrote: "She's friggin' gorgeous! A little skinny but I could see why men would find her attractive. Most women in the US get fake boobs, fake noses, etc. Why not a Russian woman?"

According to International Business Times, the Moldavian-Ukrainian model admitted she only underwent breast enhancement procedure, and nothing else.

Lukyanova also revealed she is trying a kind of diet called Breatharianism, where the dieter only lives by taking in "cosmic micro-food" which reportedly comes from light and air alone.

Jasmuheen, a proponent of Breatharianism, writes: "the capacity to live on light is directly related to our ability to attract, absorb and radiate Divine Love, which is determined by our lifestyle. When we are well tuned and our body fit, we can access an inner power, which has the ability to love us, guide us, heal us and also nourish our cells."

Human Barbie's no make-up selfie

Ukranian model Valeria Lukyanova, aka Human Barbie, uploads a no make-up selfie, and the video diary of the spa treatments that prepped her for it

Barbie, human or otherwise, is rarely seen without her make-up. Valeria Lukyanova, aka Human Barbie, uploading a photo of herself sans coloured lenses, bubble-gum blush, doll lashes and saccharine sweet lip colour was something we didn't expect to see, until now.

Her fans, while enthused by the photo - "so much more beautiful WITHOUT MAKE UP!" they echoed on Lukyanova's Facebook page - might however want to look at the post that followed. A video diary live from the spa - where it seems Human Barbie has spent a lot of time, and money, perfecting and manipulating her 'natural' look.

It's not just her vital stats and eye colour that Lukyanova has altered, it's also her eyebrows and colour, her skin (which she likes to look toned and 'Nordic') and we might add, her lifestyle, as exhibited by this short, but exhausting, film shot on spa location.

Obsessed by what she calls beauty's downgrading and "degeneration" - essentially the mixing of ethnicities and what we call, er racism - what you see when you see Human Barbie is hair and body regeneration gone crazy. Are we really going to let the model that hopes to one day be powered by solar energy, that lives off a 'diet of cosmic micro-food' and believes in time travel be part of the no make-up selfie brigade? The bare-faced cheek of it.

Ohio women held captive seek Joan Rivers’ apology

CLEVELAND — Attorneys for two women held in a Cleveland home and abused for a decade say Joan Rivers should apologize for comparing living in her daughter’s guest room with the captivity they experienced.

Rivers and her daughter were discussing their reality show Tuesday on NBC’s “Today” show when she complained about her living arrangements, saying, “Those women in the basement in Cleveland had more space.”

A Wednesday statement from attorneys for Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus calls Rivers’ remark hurtful and shocking. The attorneys say the women have endured painful media attention and the comment is “a new low” that warrants an apology.

Rivers’ publicist hasn’t responded to messages seeking comment.

Berry, DeJesus and a third woman, Michelle Knight, escaped last year. Their kidnapper, Ariel Castro, hanged himself in prison.

Michael Jackson’s Doctor Denied Latest Appeal

The California Supreme Court refused Wednesday to review the involuntary manslaughter conviction of Michael Jackson's doctor, rejecting his lawyer's petition without comment.

The decision by the state's highest court was the latest stop on Dr. Conrad Murray's legal odyssey. A state appeals court upheld his conviction earlier this year and then refused to reconsider its decision.

Michael Jackson's Mother Should Pay Court Costs, Judge Says

Attorney Valerie Wass said Murray will take his fight to federal court. "We're greatly disappointed, but we intend to pursue this in federal court," Wass said. She said she telephoned Murray with the news and, "He said, `The fight is not over.' "

Authorities said Murray gave Jackson a lethal dose of the anesthetic propofol in 2009 while the singer prepared for a series of comeback concerts.

Murray was convicted in 2011 and served two years in jail. He was released in October because of a change in California law requiring nonviolent offenders to serve their sentences in county jails and as a result of credits for good behavior.

The six-week trial focused on Murray's care of Jackson, including nightly doses of propofol to help the entertainer sleep.

The earlier appellate court decision said, "The evidence demonstrated that Mr. Jackson was a vulnerable victim and that (Murray) was in a position of trust, and that (Murray) violated the trust relationship by breaching standards of professional conduct in numerous respects."

New Michael Jackson Album 'Xscape' to Be Released in May

Since his release, Murray has been traveling and spending time with family, "trying to get his life back together." Wass said.

The federal appeal she plans to file will focus on media coverage of the trial and exposure of the unsequestered jury to the Internet, Wass said. Murray has maintained throughout his appeals that the jury should have been sequestered because of the flood of publicity surrounding the case.

The "Harry Potter" author is joining forces with the cable channel and the BBC to turn her novel "The Casual Vacancy" to television, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The author will serve as executive producer on the three-hour miniseries, to be penned by "EastEnders" writer Sarah Phelps.

JK Rowling's The Casual Vacancy adaptation for BBC and HBO to shoot this summer

Harry Potter creator's first adult novel explores the middle class English village of Pagford
JK Rowling with The Casual Vacancy
JK Rowling's novel The Casual Vacancy will be adapted for HBO and the BBC this summer, it has been revealed.

The BBC first announced that they would be making a television series based on the best-selling novel in 2012, but now HBO - home to the likes of Game of Thrones, True Blood and Girls - will co-produce the series for America.
Despite mixed reviews at the time of release The Casual Vacancy - which was the Harry Potter writer's first adult novel - stormed the best-seller lists across the world to become one of the top-selling novels of 2012.
The book follows the typically English village of Pagford following the death of councillor Barry Fairbrother. What looks to be an English idyll is soon to be revealed as a hotbed of secrets, prejudice and unexpected revelations.
The Mirror's reviewer gave the novel five stars, writing: "This is a novel about intervention and non-intervention, about prejudice, pretension, snobbery, NIMBYism and pettiness.
"It’s also about loving and caring, for both family and community, and trying to get that impossible balance right. Of course, Rowling didn’t have to write this novel but she has done a rather brave thing – and pulled it off magnificently."
Production of the series - which will be a three-part miniseries - will begin in South West England in the next few months.
Rowling will executive produce the show through production company Bronte Film and Television alongside her long-term editor Neil Blair, while Saving Mr Banks exec producer Paul Trijbits will helm the production.
EastEnders writer Sarah Phelps is rumoured to be writing the adaptation while Doctor Who director Jonny Campbell will be directing the miniseries.
