Beyonce and Jay Z to Tour Together This Summer: Report
The Mr. and Mrs. Carter world show tour! Beyonce and Jay Z are expected to go on tour together this summer, Page Six reported late Tuesday, April 15. Music's royal couple is planning to embark upon a 20-stadium tour across the U.S., according to the paper, beginning in late June. One source tells Us Weekly that rehearsals will start in mid-May. Although Blue Ivy's parents have released numerous singles together in the past -- including hits like "Bonnie & Clyde," "Crazy in Love," and most recently, "Drunk In Love" -- this would be the dynamic duo's first official tour together. Individually speaking, Jay Z wrapped his Magna Carta Holy Grail tour in January, while his wife wrapped up the Mrs. Carter World Tour in March. Beyonce was the headlining act in her husband's Made in America music festival, held in Philadelphia last September. Just last weekend, both husband and wife made surprise separate appearances at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival. Beyonce shocked fans when she showed up onstage during her sister Solange Knowles' set; the siblings then broke down into a synchronized dance routine that made the crowd go wild. Mom Tina Knowles proudly watched her girls from afar. The entrepreneur successfully embarked on a similar joint-endeavor last summer with frequent collaborator Justin Timberlake, with whom Jay Z co-headlined the Legends of the Summer tour.
